At Higher Ground, we look to Scripture, just as the first church did (Acts 2:42), as the blueprint for our worship, our work, and our service.

What to Expect on Sundays
A simple, welcoming time of worship
Church is not about a building, and it is not about entertainment or pressure. It is about people gathering to worship God together. At Higher Ground, you will find a space that is simple, heartfelt, and centered on the Bible. You will not be asked for money. You will not be put on the spot. You are welcome to join in or simply observe.
Here is what you will notice:
Singing Together:
We lift our voices in a cappella singing, just as the early church did (Ephesians 5:19). The beauty is in the shared voices, not instruments.
The Lord’s Supper Each Week:
Every Sunday we pause to remember Jesus through communion, following the pattern of the first Christians (Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 11:24-25).
A Message from Scripture:
Teaching that is rooted in God’s Word, shared in a way that encourages and equips for everyday life.
A Spirit of Welcome:
There is no pressure to give or do anything you are not ready for.
